Conference European dream increase the awareness of European institutions and politics, especially on European Parliament elections.
Although the European Parliament is elected during a massive election, national considerations usually dominate vote choice. European citizens are not interested in European elections, they tend to abstain more, and they tend to use their vote as a way to protest against, or to reward, national governments, depending on the national electoral cycle. It would be also an occasion to sum-up the 15thyears after the enlargement.
During the conference we want young people to actively contribute and to share with us their thoughts on how to improve how to strengthen European democracy. It would be great opportunity to give voice to young people to participate in the debate about EU future. Their contribution will inform and enrich the debate among policymakers.
