In. 15 years of Poland in the European Union. We are pleased to invite you to attend the launch of the in.europa new report.
The report sums up fifteen years of Poland in the EU. We wanted to show how the country has changed and what role it has played in Europe and beyond. We focus on themes and topics central to creative thinking about the challenges of Poland’s EU membership.
The authors, leading experts, discuss the political and economic dimensions of membership, along with the legal one, including the changes in the legislative process in Poland. They also look at Poland as an EU member in the international arena – in its relations with Ukraine and with Britain in the context of Brexit. They also consider the impact of the 2004 enlargement to Poland and nine other countries on the European continent. The report closes with reccommendations on how Poland should respond to various challenges to play a significant role in Europe.
We want this report to contribute to thinking about Poland in Europe in the years ahead. Beyond a historical account of the past fifteen years, it should foster critical analysis of European policy, shedding light on its mechanisms.
Looking forward to seeing you at the reports premiere: Monday, April 15th at University of Warsaw Old Library.
